Mohammed Ismail Sherif, known as Black Sherif, wins his first Best International Flow at the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards category.
The Ghanaian singer has been making waves worldwide with his music craft for the past two years, beating the likes of great rappers in Africa like Sampa The Great, AKA and K.O. from South Africa and Zimbabwe, respectively. Other nominated rappers in the same category include Gazo from France, two U.K.-based artists, Central Cee and J Hus, and two Brazilian artists, Tasha & Tracie, and Major Rd.
In the 2022 edition of the BET Awards, Black Sherif lost the Best International Flow Award to Benjamin Epps, making it the second time of nomination in the same category.
