Dancehall artist Shatta Wale uses strong words in Ghanaian media personality Kwasi Aboagye for disputing his claim that he was paid £80,000 for his performance at the Taabea Ghana Music Awards UK 2023.
On Kwesi Aboagye's entertainment radio show, he openly said the £80,000 claimed by Shatta Wale to have been his performance fee is not valid. He added that the Taabea Ghana Music Awards UK organizer can not afford that amount.
Defending his stands, the multiple award-winning dancehall artist took his Facebook Live to pour out his displeasure, lambasting the broadcaster with profane words.
During his live section on his social media handles monitored by regcollins, Shatta Wale forwards his anger towards Kwasi Aboagye's employers, Fada Dickson and Osei Kwame Despite.
"If they do not sack you from that Peace FM, you, Despite, and Fada Dickson are all f00ls."
According to Shatta Wale, he has never begged anyone for money from Despite and Fada Dickson for such ill-treatment of his brand.
"Nobody was aware when I was struggling at Circle. Just because you have a company, even those within the organization, can't anyone point out that your actions are unreasonable? You folks are in Ghana thinking you're billionaires," he angrily said.
He added that when Kwame Despite sees him, he knows he is not poor like his colleague musician. You can watch the full video live video on his Facebook handle.
