Your head must be checked if you wait to be rich before marrying

The Founder and General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church, Pastor Mensa Otabil, has a powerful message for single individuals. He encourages them to enter marriage without waiting to collect wealth first, emphasizing that love and commitment are the true foundations of a successful marriage.

Preaching that has gained widespread attention, Pastor Otabil challenged the typical belief that monetary stability is a requirement for marriage.

Sharing his personal journey, Pastor Otabil revealed that he was not financially stable when he married his wife. He even had to paint a bench white to use as furniture in their house. This personal experience is meant to inspire and give hope to those who may be in a similar situation, showing that financial stability is not a prerequisite for a successful marriage.

In a viral video, Pastor Otabil encourages singles to marry without waiting for wealth. "You don't want to marry, but you're sleeping together. You want what's reserved for marriage without going through the process. Be bold and marry." "If you're waiting to be wealthy before you marry, then your head is not functioning properly,"

Pastor Otabil emphasized that the church is a place of simplicity and support. It is ready to bless partners who wish to have a simple marriage ceremony, free from the pressures of complicated celebrations. This reassurance is meant to make you feel at ease and comfortable with the idea of a simple, yet meaningful, marriage ceremony.

"Set the date. If you're afraid of a veil, don't wear one; if you're nervous about a gown, don't. Just come to the church office and say, 'This is the woman I want, and this is the man I want.' We ask, 'Do you?' and you say, 'I do.' That's it. Then, you start planning your life together, and you'll find that the battles you face become easier to manage,"
